Oh Danny Boy! Kent exhibitor Danny Higgins secured the top two places at the recent Southern Lizard open show. His Lizards, a broken cap and clear cap gold hens took best and second best in show. Both birds displayed extremely high exhibition standard. Third and fourth best in show went to Tony Horton with a non colour fed clear cap gold hen and a non colour fed broken cap gold hen.

Fifth Best was David Newton - Clear cap Silver cock. Best Novice was a broken cap Gold hen benched by new member Mick Tiffany. The Don Plummer trophy for best clear cap Gold went to SLCC committee member Carlos de Santa Ana.
